Well it has been awhile since I have done any updating on the guide, but don't worry, there are some new things coming! My site is gonna close on the 26th, so I am finishing the transition from a website to an E-book.
Version 1.2
So you may have read using version 1 and been disappointed, but version 1.1 really improved the visual content of the guide so I hope it helped improve your reading experience. This next version is gonna introduce a few neat tid bits that can really help you in your quest to learn Game Maker Language!
I plan to include a new section in the guide that will range from 5-10+ pages of new information. This section will be the Drag and Drop to GML section. You see, if we want to completely get our users out of the nasty habits of DnD, we need to give them the ability to use the DnD in their code.
Finally, this version will include files hosted on my host-a, instead of my old "easygml.weebly.com" site. This is important as those files will disappear soon. What are these files? These are helpful things that teach you game maker while you read the guide. Yep, they are important to have.
Help us out?
I wrote the guide based on things I feel are important, but how I feel isn't important. If you have some suggestions for guide content, let me know by commenting on this post! This can be anything from content on the guide to content on the site. Perhaps you could even get me to write a guide for other parts of game maker. Not up to me, that's all on you! Comment!

The Creation of Easy GML
The Introduction of Easy GML
To start a website, you want to include a little background here and there. Hi! My name is Andrew, most people call me Drew. I started Game Maker when I was 12 years old and instantly became addicted to the aspects of game creation. Now 18, I have learned spent 6 years on game maker and have found my way around the program for some time now.
Easy GML started as a website called easygml.weebly.com. I created pages of information and hoped to get a steady flow of traffic going. Unfortunately I never found time to complete the website due to the work it takes to write and create hundreds of pages of information. Recently, I have noticed my "Weebly Pro" subscription is running out, but instead of letting it run out and watch pages of information disappear, I decided to write "Easy GML."
It started as a simple copy and paste job, saving information and pictures to place in the guide. I have slowly started revising the information in the book and creating a easy to read and follow guide. This has led to the creation of "Easy GML" version 1 which can be downloaded right now!
So what can you expect?
Thats easy! You can expect a well written, continuously improving guide. Easy GML is currently being revised and improved and plans have been made up for 2 versions! What is coming to "Easy GML?" Just keep on reading!
Plans for Version 1.1
-New Book Cover
-Improved Photo Quality
-Rewriting of articles still written for web site
-Addition of several NEW articles
-More Small goodies
Keep coming back to see what is in store for "Easy GML" or get the new releases when available! Thank you for your support and perhaps leave a donation if you found "Easy GML" helpful.
